Producer Michael Kwaku Ola has urged women to name and shame him if he's ever asked them for sex in return for jobs
- He's announcement comes in the wake of a video by MzCee detailing her experience with producers who demand sex in return for jobs
A Ghanaian producer by the name of Michael Kwaku Ola, has called on all female actresses he's worked with to speak up if he's ever asked them for sex in return for a role in a film production.
Following the rise of the #MeToo where many Hollywood actresses voiced up their experiences with producers who propositioned them in return for roles in film productions.
Soon after celebrated American TV personality, Oprah's highly popular speech at the Golden globes, Joy News' MzGee shared a video relating her own experience with a producer who propositioned her for sex, in return for giving her roles in movies.
Even though she refused his request and never got the roles she auditioned for, she stopped short of actually naming the producer who stood in her way of getting movie roles.
Now in a post on his Facebook profile, Ghanaian producer Michael Kwaku Ola has urged women he's worked with to come out and denounce him if he's ever asked them for sex in return for giving them roles.
“BOLD DECLARATION
If you are a lady, woman, girl whom I have EVER asked for sex before casting or helping you in any way, please name and shame me!
WAITING FOR MY NAME AND SHAME!
My name is Michael Ola. My picture is below
#stopsexforworknow!” He wrote.
