Arsenal news: Mesut Ozil tells Barcelona he is ready to sign for Man Utd on one condition

ARSENAL star Mesut Ozil wants to know if Barcelona want to sign him before committing to Manchester United, according to reports.

Arsenal midfielder Ozil is being linked with both Manchester United and Barcelona with his contract at the Emirates expiring at the end of the season.

Express Sport understands the Germany international is being lined up as a replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan by United gaffer Jose Mourinho.

But, with Barcelona struggling to wear Liverpool down over Philippe Coutinho, Ozil has also emerged as a target.

And Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo say the Arsenal playmaker has contacted Barcelona to know if they will try and sign him before committing to United.
