ALEXIS SANCHEZ is edging closer to joining Manchester United, but what squad number would the Chilean take if he completes a move from Arsenal?
Sanchez looked destined to sign for Manchester City this month as Arsenal attempt to cash in before the Chilean’s contract expires this summer.
However, Manchester United lodged a late bid for the 28-year-old and now seem in prime position to swoop in for the disgruntled Gunners striker.
Sanchez is refusing to extend his current deal at the Emirates and would be able to leave for free at the end of the season, but United are prepared to offer the star a £350,000-a-week contract if he joins this month.
The frontman currently wears No 7 at Arsenal, but there are several potential shirts Sanchez could claim if he does make the move to Old Trafford.
