Highlife legend, Kwaisey Pee has disclosed that despite his love for Sarkodie, the rapper has become very disrespectful and arrogant after gaining fame.
According to Kwaisey Pee, the 2007 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards best Male Vocalist of the Year, it was Sarkodie’s talent that earned him a feature on his song “Br3 Br3” but doesn’t want to talk about Sarkodie anymore.
After Kwaisey Pee’s interview with Kumikasa.com, it emerged that Kwaisey Pee is peeved because of his failed attempt to feature Sarkodie on the ‘Brɛ Brɛ’ video hit song. In a conversation with Kumikasa, he posited that;
‘I wanted to shoot a video for ‘Brɛ Brɛ‘ but Sarkodie didn’t make it happen. He always give me excuses of being busy, whenever i call him. He will sometimes give his phone to people to tell me, Sarkodie is busy and will call me back but my calls were never returned. There was even a time he told me he is in America, so I decided to send him money so that he can shoot his part there because of his busy schedules but all in vain. I don’t know why Sarkodie treated me that way but he will regret and cry one day for refusing to feature on that video’, Kwaisey Pee cursed.
Well, Kwaisey Pee isn’t the only artiste to talk about Sarkodie’s arrogant attitude when you need him for featuring. On records, Yemi Alade, Nigerian Afro Pop songstress Yemi Alade, Flowkingstone, Quata Budukusu, et al. at a point in time shared same sentiment about Ghana’s favorite rapper.
