Talented Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has disclosed that being submissive to her husband is the top secret behind their six-years marriage.

According to the actress, she respects her husband as the head of the house and puts her family first at all times.
Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, the wife of musician Eugene Baah aka Choirmaster, revealed that being married for six years is not easy journey but she always plays her role as a wife to bring peace that they need as couples.
“As two people from different backgrounds, we may have different perspectives about issues but the truth is that I always honour my husband as the head of the family and give him that respect that brings the peace we need in the marriage,” she said.
Beverly in her interaction explained that even though combining career duties with marriage has not been easy, she always makes sure she puts her family first.
“I won’t say marriage and being a mother has negatively affected my career. Not at all. I acknowledge my role first as a wife and a mother because my family is my priority. Until I know my family is okay with my long absence which comes with the demands of my job, they will always be on top of my list,” the actress said.
The beautiful actress indicated that there are many failed marriages but don’t come to the attention of the media due to the personalities involve.
Therefore, she does not agree to the notion that celebrities' marriages cannot be successful.
“Some have braved the odds and made a success of their love stories with all the attention so why can’t mine survive too? Just as ordinary marriages fail so do celebrity marriages but that won’t be my portion,” Beverly said.
